'Rock On 2' is the sequel to 'Rock On!!', which set the stage for new-age musicals in Bollywood.
'Rock On!!', produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their banner Excel Entertainment, starred Arjun Rampal, Shahana Goswami, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli and Farhan. It had won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
With blockbuster music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the movie was about the fate of a fictional Mumbai-based rock band Magik, members of which reunite after a decade-long split.
'Rock On 2', directed by Shujaat Saudagar, is set to release on November 11.
